Print Their Portrait
Do some research in your area before printing the photos.

There may be stores around you that are willing to donate the cost of the printing for you. (Look at the bottom of this page to download a letter that you can use to approach companies to try to get the printing donated.)

If you have partnered with a non-profit organization or hospital, talk with your contact person as they may already have connections with companies that would be willing to cover the printing cost.

It's up to you how many prints you have done. At least offer each family one 5x7 print of the portrait. More than that is fine.

Along with the actual print, you can also give the family or the organization digital copies of the pictures. That way, they have the opportunity to print as many copies as they would like. If you are working with a larger organization, discuss with your contact person what would be best for them- just the prints or the prints and digital copies.

Do your best to have the pictures printed and delivered to the families in a timely manner.

If you are printing on site, decide before the event begins how many portraits you are going to give each family. Make sure you have enough supplies with you to print all the portraits that will be shot that day.

Remember that the only purpose these pictures serve is for the family. You can not use these shots for your portfolio, your website, or shows. Help Portrait exists to give portraits.
